Scotland '99

We met the Sherpa and Rowan of the Dirk Duyvel unit at our camp at Wiltz, Luxembourg in 1998. At that time we invited them to come to Scotland to stay in our Headquarters and to spend some time walking part of the West Highland Way..

There was a draft programme before the camp but it was firmed up after the Unit reached Cupar

Sunday 18th July Netherlands to Hull
Monday 19th July Hull to Edinburgh and met there by Cupar Scouts, and taken to Cupar
Tuesday 20th July See around Cupar & St Andrews
Wednesday 21st July Walking around Edinburgh - literally!!!!!
Thursday 22nd July Lomond Hills Hike and visit Falkland Palace
Friday 23rd July Visit to Perth Pool and town
Saturday 24th July Hike from Tyndrum to Inverarnon
Sunday 25th July Hike from Inverarnon to Kingshouse
Monday 26th July Hike from Kingshouse to Kinlochleven - including the 'Devils Staircase'
Tuesday 27th July Hike from Kinlochleven to Fort William, a short visit to Fort William and travel back to Cupar
Wednesday 28th July Spare Day - around Fife
Thursday 29th July Edinburgh, shopping and Castle
Friday 30th July Leave Cupar, go to Edinburgh and go to Hull Ferry
Saturday 31st July Arrive Netherlands
